David Bland is an experienced guide and has a deep knowledge of Zambia. David's love for its wildlife, people and passionate commitment for the conservation of Zambia's unique environment is obvious to all who meet him.

I was born in Lusaka, Zambia in 1963. I was raised on a farm near Lusaka and my love for the 'Bush' began at an early age. Being raised in Africa I was more fortunate than most and I took every opportunity to go out into the bush and learn from the Africans about the wildlife and 'ways' of the bush. I have a deep love and understanding for the people of Zambia as I was brought up as a Zambian, speaking their language and embracing their culture. My family still live in Zambia.

My professional guiding experience began in 1982 in the Kafue National Park in the West of Zambia. I have travelled Zambia extensively and provide specialist Safaris throughout Zambia, taking my clients to the 'Best' Zambian Game Lodges and the more remote Bush Camps giving the clients a 'genuine' African Experience. My aim is to share with every client my enthusiasm for my 'home', it's wildlife and people. I like to conduct personally Guided Safaris giving my clients a more informative and unique experience to some of the more remote un-spoilt areas. For clients who wish to travel independently, we will arrange one of our Safaris from our suggested  Itinerary or tailor make a Safari to suit your requirements.

I am a keen wildlife photographer. I now live with my wife & three sons in the small picturesque village of Steyning, nestled in the South Downs, near Brighton, West Sussex, England.
